Okay, she didn't write this particular piece for Newsday, but STILL.
"Our own Elizabeth Loring absolutely kills it Friday with her group the Ben Benedict Band at Three Oaks' fun-n-funky venue the Acorn Theater. They opened for hot bluegrass faves Chris Jones and the Night Drivers."
